Why do you deserve an award?: We’re supporting local music, bands and musicians, plus pioneering music / agency models of the future. (Tho that makes us sound like tw*ts)

What were the objectives?: We wanted to promote the best local music in Leith, Edinburgh and Scotland via Twitter and http://leithrecords.com.

What have you achieved?: We’re now featuring artists, getting submissions, doing live gigs on the Leith Barge and broadcasting live. All in 1 month!

Why do you deserve an award?: Not sure that I do deserve an award really. Hopefully I’ve made my wife’s life (and other womens) a little better by taking responsibility.

What were the objectives?: Raise awareness of a sensitive issue that most blokes through fear and ignorance choose to avoid.

What have you achieved?: I twittered live from the operating table during a vasectomy procedure. Men I know are now talking openly about the procedure, without tears

What were the objectives?: We challenged 3 friends to take on LA non-stop, for 72 hours. Their challenge: to send a tweet every minute (all 4320 of them).

What have you achieved?: A live tweet feed of 4320 tweets showcasing the best adventures in LA in a short time frame now hosted on a website for future travellers

Why do you deserve an award?: First UK treasure hunt taking place purely via twitter – searches for over £400 of whisky in Glasgow/London with hints provided via tweets.

What were the objectives?: Raise awareness of W&M, engage online while having fun in cross-city treasure hunts. Was also a toe-dipping exercise into online presence.

What have you achieved?: Considerable coverage for W&M and was followed by up W&M Master Blender engaging online via blog, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn and Facebook.
