What is this

The Golden Twit Awards, which is free to enter, aims to celebrate the best in Twittering.

Unlike other schemes which are purely judged through online voting the Golden Twits includes a live, living and breathing jury, whose task it to ensure the winners are selected on merit although as opposed to jiggery pokery and gerrymandering.

That jury already includes:

  • Peter Abraham | Director Econsultancy.com;
    • CNN’s Jonathan Klein: TV Ratings don’t matter. We’re competing with social networks.: It’s not unusual to hear so…
  • Trevor Chambers | Executive Creative Director Start Creative Ltd;
    • New blog post: Political Nonsense Rules
  • Rowan Heasley of naked penguin boy;
    • No public Twitter messages.
  • Syd Nadim | Clock;
    • RT : Blog post: ‘Near-Perfect’ Hydrophobic Surface Inspired By Spiders () << Water off a spider’s back then!
  • Sue Llewellyn | Many Hands Media;
    • Completely mad. They make it inordinately complicated *rips hair out*
  • Mat Morrison | Head of Digital Planning at Porter Novelli;
    • all social media presentations are somewhat generic. Sometimes hard to judge an audience. Mostly lack of content, tho.
  • Carl Hopkins | Kloog;
    • Creative Networks presents an audience with Sir John Hegarty 25/03/10. Venue: Leeds College of Art LS2 9AQ email .
  • Dave Trott | CST Advertising;
  • Adam Sefton | Reading Room;  and
    • Whilst January is clearly my favourite, I think August and November also have a certain style and panache
  • Gordon Young | The Drum.
    • Businesses beware. Glasgow City Council have hit on new revenue generating scam; busting firms for littering

More top names to follow.

  • Brand noise and sentiment
  • Flair
  • Creativity
  • RT rate
  • Cause and effect
  • Comment
  • Opinion
